Scholarships & Research Grants

UPNMG is committed to advancing the professional and academic development of its members through its Scholarship Scheme and Research Grants initiative. Members who wish to further their studies and meet the necessary qualifications will be considered for scholarships after a thorough review by a dedicated committee. Additionally, research grants are available to members conducting studies related to nursing, midwifery, and health. A panel of seasoned researchers and academicians will assess these research works and ensure their quality, with the best submissions considered for publication in upcoming UPNMG magazines. To kickstart this initiative, the union has deposited a seed capital of GHS 100,000 into the scholarship account. The goal is to grow this fund significantly by partnering with agencies, NGOs, and other organizations committed to supporting education and research. . By leveraging these collaborations, UPNMG aims to create a sustainable funding source to empower members to achieve their academic and research aspirations, contributing to the overall advancement of healthcare.
