This scheme will enable members to acquire vehicles through manageable payment plans, tailored to suit their financial circumstances. The initiative not only improves the quality of life for members but also enhances their ability to deliver healthcare services efficiently, especially in underserved areas where transportation can be a significant challenge. To further support this vision, UPNMG is actively engaging with the government to reinstate the vehicle import waiver for health workers, reducing the cost of imported vehicles and making them more accessible to members. In addition, , the union is exploring partnerships with automotive companies to offer environmentally friendly options such as hybrid and electric vehicles, in line with global sustainability goals.
